The Twirlettes have been proud to perform for the past 6 years at the University of Michigan Men's and Women's basketball halftimes. This year we mark another milestone for our team. Our State Champion, Jr. Small dance twirl team, "Stronger" along with Stacey Girbach joined the Michigan twirlers for a hafltime production. Since our teammate Nathan Magyar is the NEW freshman twirler at UM , we invited him and his team mates to join us for this performance. Michigan Twirlers learned part of our team routine, while also being featured with our very own Saline Senior Stacey Girbach. The hafltime was a crowd pleaser and we hope we have many more opportunities to perform with the Michigan Twirlers! Thank you Erica, Kaitlyn & Nathan!

Saline Twirlettes & Twirl M's pose at Ford Field
The Saline Twirlettes performed on Thanksgiving Day in Nov. of 2005 at the Detroit Lions game at Ford Field . The 19 twirlettes joined members of the Twirl M's for this incredible opportunity. The joint teams performed at halftime with pop star diva, Mariah Carey. The team carpooled the 3 days before Thanksgiving day for practice and dress rehearsal at Ford field and took a chartered bus on Thanksgiving day performing with hundreds of other dancers, band members, H. S. colorguard, dancers and cheerleaders. The team was on national television on Thanksiving day and was a one in a liftime performance!
A chorographer from New York called Twirlettes head coach when Mariah Carey herself wanted twirlers to add to the band-like street performance. The call came one week prior to event, so coaches, parents and twirlers quickly worked together to make this happen for our twirlers. The chorgrapher found us from our Web site! Thank you Frank Swierz!
