2012 Senior, Chrissy Houle, was named the 2012 Distinguished Young Woman of Michigan on January 28, 2012. The program is established to provide scholarships to HS seniors. Chrissy competed in the areas of scholastics, interview, talent, on - stage question, and self expression. She won the scholastic, interview, talent and self expression categories. She won a total of $3,600 in scholarhips.
Chrissy hopes to attend an IVY league school, ( Harvard, Yale, Columbia, Penn ) or Northwestern to pursue a journalism degree in the hopes to be be an foreign correspondent.
WMU freshman, Haley Williams returned to the pageant stage on January 8, 2012 at the Miss Spirit of the State local pageant, a Miss Michigan qualifier. Haley won the overall talent award and 4th runner-up. Haley was the 2011 Distinguished Young Woman of Michigan and the 2009 Miss Michigan Outstanding teen. She will continue her quest to get to the Miss Michigan stage.

Success continues for Saline Twirlettes Haley Williams. At this Michigan Distinguished Young Woman Scholarship program ( formerly Jr. Miss) she won Interview, Fitness and Self-Expression Awards and was named the 1st Distinguished Young Woman of Michigan title. Haley will now represent Michigan at the Distinguished Young Woman of America Program in June in Mobile, Alabama. Her winnings include $3700 in cash scholarships plus full ride offers to several Alabama universities.

Amanda Coy and Colleen Issel competed in the Little Miss Michigan pageant in Muskegon October 23rd. Amanda was fortunate to win 3rd runner up and a $100 savings bond. Both girls twirled for their talent and love the experience.

A year comes to an end....on June 18, 2010 Haley Williams will crown the new Miss Michigan Outstanding Teen. One year ago, she was crowned and started her year of service. Haley has enjoyed performing around the state, volunteering at the Special Olympics, Collecting donations for Ele's Place, making hospital visits, reading to the children in Saline, hosting many events, and representing her state. It has been an incredible year!!

Conner Potter~ 2010 Saline's Jr. Miss Senior Conner Potter represented Saline in the 52nd Michigan Jr. Miss Scholarship program at Saline High School on March 13, 2010. Conner competed in the areas of interview, scholastic, talent, physical fitness, and self expression. Conner will moved in with her host family on March 7th with her week being filled with rehearsals and community service. Her visists included visting Onstead Elementary and an Ann Arbor Elementary school. The girls will performed their talents at Onstead Elementary as well as a senior center. Girls worked with a local girl scout troop helping the girls earn a badge. The girl scouts also appeared in the program. They also visited Michigan Speedway, Brooklyn Kiwanis club, The Ford Estate and Dominos Headquarters.

2009 Miss Michigan's Oustanding Teen; Haley Williams
Miss Michigan Oustanding Teen Haley Williams competed in Orlando at the Miss America's Outstanding Teen August 6th-15th. Her week started with a Tony Bowles Photo shoot and voice taping. Her week was filled with rehearsals and photo shoots, luncheons, and special events. Haley competed in preliminary competition in talent, eveing gown, on-stage question and fitness wear along with a private interview. Haley will continue her service by volunteering, being in parades, hosting many local pageants, and performing. She has won $2700 in educational scholarships.
