HALEY WILLIAMS~ 2009 Miss Michigan Outstanding Teen
A year comes to an end....on June 18, 2010 Haley Williams will crown the new Miss Michigan Outstanding Teen. One year ago, she was crowned and started her year of service. Haley has enjoyed performing around the state, volunteering at the Special Olympics, Collecting donations for Ele's Place, making hospital visits, reading to the children in Saline, hosting many events, and representing her state. It has been an incredible year!!

Conner Potter~ 2010 Saline's Jr. Miss Senior Conner Potter represented Saline in the 52nd Michigan Jr. Miss Scholarship program at Saline High School on March 13, 2010. Conner competed in the areas of interview, scholastic, talent, physical fitness, and self expression. Conner will moved in with her host family on March 7th with her week being filled with rehearsals and community service. Her visists included visting Onstead Elementary and an Ann Arbor Elementary school. The girls will performed their talents at Onstead Elementary as well as a senior center. Girls worked with a local girl scout troop helping the girls earn a badge. The girl scouts also appeared in the program. They also visited Michigan Speedway, Brooklyn Kiwanis club, The Ford Estate and Dominos Headquarters.

2009 Miss Michigan's Oustanding Teen; Haley Williams
Miss Michigan Oustanding Teen Haley Williams competed in Orlando at the Miss America's Outstanding Teen August 6th-15th. Her week started with a Tony Bowles Photo shoot and voice taping. Her week was filled with rehearsals and photo shoots, luncheons, and special events. Haley competed in preliminary competition in talent, eveing gown, on-stage question and fitness wear along with a private interview. Haley will continue her service by volunteering, being in parades, hosting many local pageants, and performing. She has won $2700 in educational scholarships.

It was great to have the support of big sister ; Miss Michigan and Little princess and Twirlette team mate Amanda Coy in Orlando during a busy week.

"Bug"- family nickname "Haley Bailey"- Early days from coach Susan ""Fifi"- Recent Nickname from team mates and coach Junior , Haley Williams ,was crowned Miss Michigan's Outstanding Teen on June 19, 2009.
Haley competed in interview, talent, evening gown, on-stage question, and active wear. Her first time on the Miss Michigan stage proved to be very fortunate for Haley. During preliminary competitin Haley won the Wednesday night preliminary talent award. Her show routine included 1, 2 and 3 batons to the Hercules Soundtrack " A star is born". Haley's talent of baton twirling started 11 years ago at the young age of 5. She has been a Saline Twirlette ever since helping them to win 8-national titles. She has been the Jr. State Solo champion and 2008 Miss Majorette of Michigan. Her success also comes from taking tap, jazz, ballet, hip-hop and pointe over the years from Lisa and Adam Clark at Dance Alliance.( Saline,MI) Her platform " Mentoring Through Faith; A guide to the Teen Years" has been a source of strength for her and a new found interest in her life. Haley loves spending time with friends & family, traveling, going to the movies, shopping, & attending Life at St. Andrews church. She is in the Chamber Choir, a high school majorette, Link Crew member, year book staff, employed seasonally at Great Harvest Bread Co. and a volunteer for Special Olympics.
Her Saline Twirlette family is very proud of this huge accomplishment. We wish her the best of luck at Miss America's Oustanding Teen in Orlando Florida August 11-15th.
