We are very proud of our twirlers that take their accomplishments to the high school level. This is not only an honor to represent their respective high schools but a way to showcase their twirling to the community.

The Saline High School Marching band will open their season at the KICK OFF CLASSIC at the Eastern Michigan University Rynearson Stadium on August 30, 2009. The band will host 4 home games in Saline, the John Glen Festival, Chelsea Band festival, Saline Fair , Holiday and Memorial day parade. The Saline Marching band will host the Purdue University Band on November 6th. The bands will perform a joint performance on November 6th at Saline HS Field. The Saline Band members will be host families for the Purdue band as they will travel down the road to the Univ. of Michigan Stadium the next day for a big ten match up. The Purdue band hosts 2 Saline Students; one being Mary Ciotta, Saline Twirlette and Purdue Boilerette!

On May 10, 2008 Mariah Wins the MI Jr. Beginner Pageant title!
Tecumseh Twirler ~ Mariah Austin Mariah Austin , junior at Tecumseh High school will be the solo feature twirler again this season. As a freshman Mariah was chosen as a twirler and part time colorguard member. After after being a colorguard member and part time twirler for one year ,the band director allowed her to be the solo twirler during her sophmore year. Mariah will perform with the marching band at all football games, parades, and festivals.
Saline High School Majorettes 2008-9 The Saline Marching band is comprised of 200+ members this year which includes 6 majorettes. The band will perform at all home football games , local parades, the Chelsea band show and the John Glen band festival. The majorettes are proud to bring home a national title to their high school this fall. The Saline Majorettes are also the recipient of the Holloway " Cool Cash" Champion team and is featured in their fall "Apparel Collection 09" catalog. The band is under the direction of Nate Lampman.

2007-8 Saline High Majorettes
2007 Saline High School Majorettes Saline High School had a 230 member band in 2007 which included 9 majorettes and 22 colorguard members. The band is under the direction of MSU graduate, Nate Lampman. The band performs at all home football games and the District 12 band festival hosted at John Glen H.S. each year. The band traveled to Orlando, Florida in April of 2008 spring break to peform in the Disney parade. The Saline Marching band tradition is strong and practices before school on Wed.-Fridays and Monday evenings. The line is the largest in SHS history and majorettes dates back to the early 50's.
~ On March 31, 2008 the Saline Majorettes performed at the Majic Kingdom in the Disney "Year of a Million Dreams parade" with the Saline High School Marching band.
Four Year Majorette and Captain for 3 years-Mary Ciotta graduated in 2008 and now attends Purdue University where she is a member of the Purdue "Boilerette" Twirling team. ( Freshman Class of 2008)

2005-7 Dexter Twirler Nathan Magyar Nathan had been a member of the Dexter Marching band for 4 years and had been the twirler for 3 years. His freshman year Nathan followed the band's guidelines by being a musician in the band playing his saxophone. His sophmore year, Nathan was then invited to be the solo feature twirler. Since that time, Nathan stunned audiences with his performances. During his senior season, he twirled 1, 2,3 and FOUR batons as well as 2 fire batons. ~In March 2008 Nathan marched in the Disney parade and twirled in front of thousands of people at the Majic Kingdom Nathan attends the University of Michigan where he is a twirler for the Michigan Marching band. ( Freshman Class 2008)

2006-7Ypsilanti Lincoln High School Majorette Kelsey Lamkin was captain her senior year on the Lincoln majorette squad. Kelsey graduated from Washtenaw Technological Middle College Student but was permitted to be a member of the marching band due to Lincoln being her home school district. She twirled for 2 years with the Lincoln Marching band. Kelsey now attends Grand Valley State University and is a twirler with the Laker Marching band. ( Freshman Class Fall 2008)
