January 30, 2009 the Saline Twirlettes make a stop back on their home turf at the Boys Basketball games. The night before they performed at UM and then were right back at it! It is always fun to perform for the home-town crowd and feel their support!

The season started with three football games for the Twirlettes. First On Aug. 28th the Twirlettes performed at the home opener of Eastern Michigan University. Twirlettes supported and twirled with NEW EMU feature Twirler Bethany Lawson. Then on Friday the Saline Hornets opened their season and was the first debut of the Saline 2008-9 majorettes. On Saturday the team moved down the road to see Nathan Magyar's first game as a Twirler with the Michigan Marching band. Now Sept. 6th two Twirlettes will have their first collegiate game. Kelsey Lamkin will twirl with Grand Valley and Mary Ciotta will be with the Purdue Boilerettes on Sept. 6th.
