The Saline Twirlettes  recreational program runs during the school year. Our first term, "fall term" , runs from Sept.- 3rd week in January.  Our "Winter term" begins the last week in Jan. and runs until the week after Memorial Day.  Twirlettes accept new students each September.  Registration begins  the first few weeks of school with the first class starting usually the 3rd week of September. Registration nights are posted on the web site , Saline Reporter, and school flyers. On Registration nights parents are encouraged to bring their student with them to fill out paperwork , be sized for a baton and costume/jacket.
All of our new students are called "rookies" and will have weekly classes.  Typically our rookies class is held on Tuesday evenings from 6: 15-7:00 p.m.  Initial fees include; fall tution, baton , membership fee, and a costume deposit.

We hope that you will find this a delightful experience for your child!  It is important that each family logs onto our website at www.salinetwirlettes. org to read about our organization. Please read and copy the Saline  Twirlettes handbook for your reference.  This will help you understand how our group operates.  Basically we will have classes the same time each week. Typically, we will be at Woodland on Tuesdays and Houghton on Thursdays.  Occasionally we will be moved due to school conflicts, so keep updated to the class location sheet on the web page and the newsletter.  Our “FALL TERM” runs to to the end of January. At that time our winter term will begin. the first week of February.   We will have registration when we return in 2010.  Our first performance will be the Saline Homecoming parade on October 9th   and hope EVERY Twirlette will join us. We will have a Holiday recital- TBA and holiday parade on Dec. 5th!!

Commuication/ Newsletters- Each week, you need to pick up a newsletter, like this one, which outlines important information for the week.  A file box will be at the information table with the newsletters and a slot for your child’s class. You can pick up practice sheets, etc in your class folder. This newsletter, along with our web page, is our main source of communication, so please make sure you check both sources. If you have a question or comment, feel free to call  or email the director.
