Grass Lake Twirlette pom team competed for the first time in 2011 at the TU Miss Holiday Contest. The team brought home a 1st place in their team event. Several twirlers also competed individually with much success. The GL team is on their way!
Saline Twirlettes The Saline Twirlettes based out of Saline,Michigan is the "HOME" of baton Twirling in Washtenaw County and surrounding areas. The Saline Twirlettes is proud to offer a full program on any level; recreational, competitive and national level training.
Grass Lake Twirlettes Beginning in the fall of 2008 the Saline Twirlettes started a satellite program in Grass Lake, Michigan. A 6- week recreational class was offered!! Due to the excitment and interest the class expanded to a winter and spring term.
CLASSES WILL CONTINUE IN 2011-12 at George Long Elementary School on Thursday nights in Grass Lake.
TWIRLING CLASSES WILL BE OFFERED FOR STUDENTS WITH PRIOR EXPERIENCE AND FOR NEW TWIRLERS. FOR THOSE STUDENTS THAT TAKE A TWIRLING CLASS A *NEW* POM TEAM WILL BE FORMED. THE TEAM WILL COMPETE AT 3-4 LOCAL CONTESTS THIS YEAR.
