All three Twirlette teams won 1st place at the TU Miss Holiday contest. Many students placed in the Miss Holiday pageant as well. Basic Skills pageant 0-8 was a clean sweep by Twirlettes. In modeling Haley Alvarez won 1st, Kierstin Norris 2nd, Alexis Figueras 3rd. In basic strutting Haley won 3rd , Alexis 2nd and Elly 1st and in Solo Haley won, 2nd Elly, and 3rd Kierstin. Haley Alvarez won 1st, Elly LeCursi 2nd, Kierstin Norris 3rd. In the Age 9 Basic Skills division Avery St. Lawrence won a 4th place overall by winning the modeling, and 4th in Twirl. Reigan Marowelli placed 4th in the strutting event.
In the 10-11 yr. old B.S. division Emily Prentice won 4th in modeling . In the 12-14 division Sabrina placed 2nd in modeling and solo giving her a 2nd place overall award in the pageant.
In the Beginner Miss HOliday pageant 0-8, Hanna Alvarez won the modeling & placed 2nd in solo, Haley Alvarez 3rd and won the strutting and solo. Haley won the Beginner pageant with sister right behind her in 2nd. in the 9-11 Beginner division Lizzie Branch won the title by taking home 3 first places in modeling, strut and solo. In 12-14 division, Cori Walworth placed 4th in modeling and 3rd in solo. Kelly Coghlan placed 3rd in modeling, 4th in strut and won the solo . Overall results were Cori 2nd and Kelly won the Beginner Miss Holiday title.
In the Intermediate division, 12-14 Julie Palmer won 3rd in the strutting while Erin Evans won 2nd in modeling, 1st in strut and solo to win the overall title. in the Int. 15+ divison Andrea Doa placed 2nd in strutting.
Advanced Miss Holiday 12-14 Izzy Melvin placed 2nd in solo while Amanda Coy placed 2nd in modeling, 1st in strutting and 3rd in solo to win Miss Holiday 2013. In the Senior division Natalie Haubenstricker placed 3rd in strutting and solo to win 3rd overall in Miss Holiday.
